Bea Miyamoto

Bea Miyamoto is Chief Legal Officer at Eku Energy and brings over 25 years’ experience from private practice and legal leadership roles in-house. For much of her career, Bea has worked in the international business arena, dividing her time between London and Tokyo.  Prior to joining Eku Energy, Bea held APAC and global General Counsel roles with GE Capital business divisions and was responsible for Legal Innovation at Panasonic.  Bea is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and has held women’s network leadership and mentoring roles.  Bea is the first in her family to go to university, where she studied mathematics, before starting her career at a City law firm. In addition to her responsibilities for the Eku Energy Legal team, Bea is a core member of the Eku Energy Executive Management Team.
