Mark is the Executive Chairman of MAM Green Investments and has been with Macquarie Group for 20 years. He led the acquisition and integration of the Green Investment Bank in 2017 and became head of the group upon acquisition and through its transition to a funds management business within Macquarie Asset Management.

Mark has been involved in structured finance and investment in energy and infrastructure projects for more than 30years, with a focus on principal investment in sectors including offshore wind, solar, biomass and transmission. He was Head of Macquarie Capital’s European Infrastructure and Energy Group from 2014 to 2022.

Prior to joining Macquarie, he was Head of ABN AMRO’s European Infrastructure Capital business. He practised law in Australia before switching to principal investing and was a Structured Finance Partner at national law firm, Clayton Utz.

Mark is Chair of Corio Generation, a global offshore wind company, Cero Generation, a European onshore renewables company and Eku Energy, an energy storage solutions company, all created by MAM Green Investments.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
